Eversheds Secures New Netherlands AllianceAfter a six-year absence, Eversheds has sealed its re-entry into the Netherlands market by signing an alliance agreement with 12-partner Dutch practice Faasen & Partners. The tie-up will go live on Oct. 1, giving the U.K. firm a presence in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam. As a full member of Eversheds International, the firm will operate as Eversheds Faasen. Eversheds previously had a Dutch alliance with Boekel de Neree, but split from the firm in early 2002 after three years.

White & Case M&A Co-head Quits for In-House RoleWhite & Case is set to lose its global co-head of M&A, as Tim Goodell quits the firm to become senior vice president and general counsel with oil company Hess Corp. Goodell, who will take up his new role in January, has been one of the six members of the firm's partnership committee. Hess is a client of White & Case and Goodell in particular.
