When asked about their law firms' possible layoffs between July 1, 2022, and July 1, 2023, managing partners provided positive info, with 89.3% saying they did not lay off lawyers or staff, 7.1% laying off staff only, 3.6% laying off both attorneys and staff and none laying off lawyers only. When asked if their firms were planning layoffs for the next year, all leaders said they have none expected.
