The trustee of the Girardi Keese bankruptcy has sued Erika Girardi for accepting more than $242,658 from a court settlement that should have gone to her husband Tom Girardi's law firm. Erika Girardi, who stars on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," is set receive another $78,000 in payments through 2025 from the settlement of a case involving the lottery winnings of former actress Natalie Marston.

At a Thursday hearing, U.S. District Judge Thomas Durkin said he would hold an evidentiary hearing by Sept. 14 to determine whether to issue contempt orders against David Lira and Keith Griffin, former partners at Girardi Keese, for failing to alert him that clients with settlements over the Lion Air crash in 2018 hadn't been paid. Durkin previously issued a $2 million contempt order against Tom Girardi, founding partner of Girardi Keese.
